Lavender & Honey
Lavender tea is made from locally harvested sprigs, and then honey is mixed in too, just before saponification. Honey is incredibly healing, reducing blemishes and scarring over time. Lavender reduces the effects of nervous tension in body and mind, facilitating rest and recovery. This soap has been designed to be healing for people with sensitive or damaged skin.

Red Oak & Black Walnut
Ground Black Walnut husks are paired with Red Oak bark to create a powerful, deeply cleansing soap that is both smokey and woodsy. Juglone from Black Walnut and the tannins from Red Oak are both very effective antimicrobial agents that leave your skin smooth and clean. This soap has been designed to be ALTR’s most deeply cleansing.

Pine & Charcoal
Locally wildcrafted pine comes together with charcoal to refresh and purify. As an astringent, pine hardens proteins on the surface of the skin, preventing excessive oil from accumulating in the pores upon drying. Charcoal’s meso porous structure allows it to absorb several hundred times its own weight in impurities. This is our strongest, most deeply cleansing soap.

Sage & Sea Salt
Finely ground sea salt is combined with an infusion of wildcrafted sage to create a cleansing and mineral rich bar. Calming to the mind, sage helps restore peace to your system. Sea salt balances oil production in the skin. This soap has been designed to be mentally and physiologically grounding.

Spruce & Rose
Black Spruce and Rose are gathered and dried to create this fresh and relaxing smelling soap. Spruce is an effective disinfectant that is great for relieving aches and pains in bones and muscles. Rose is a famous anti-inflammatory and analgesic. This soap has been designed to be refreshing and palliative.

Yarrow & Calendula
Yarrow and Calendula are harvested from ALTR’s gardens to soothe and nourish your skin. Calendula is a wonderful anti-inflammatory agent and muscle relaxant. The achilleine in Yarrow reduces anxiety. This bar has been designed to be psychologically and physiologically soothing. This bar has no added essential oils to keep it gentle for pregnant and nursing mamas and babies.
